Crossline load distribution
Shoulder straps cross in an X through the chest web, spreading arrest load across the clavicle and lat muscles instead of concentrating it on one collarbone. More comfortable on long stop events, kinder to the body.

For the two-scanner operator. An X-harness that crosses the back and chest to distribute weight across both shoulders — no more single-side fatigue at hour ten. EVA foam shoulder pad with perforated mesh breathes through the shift and sits flat under a vest. Two scanner tether loops run to the captive holes on either side, so your primary and your backup stay chest-high and ready for the handoff. Hook-and-loop breakaway releases at the nape if a strap catches. Underarm stabilizer strap keeps the rig from shifting mid-stride. Ambidextrous build — reconfigure for left or right dominant in under a minute. Adjustable 41–61in around the torso, 11–18in on the shoulder pad. One size, built for most.

Padded pass-throughs on both hips let a left- or right-handed scanner user carry a tethered device on the dominant side without re-rigging the harness.
Two forged side D-rings for work positioning — rebar, tower climb, window washing. Accept positioning lanyards rated to the same 420 lb user capacity as the dorsal.
Red warning tags on the shoulder seams and sub-pelvic strap pop open if the harness has ever taken an arrest load. Makes retirement-from-service decisions obvious at a glance.
Universal sizing. Crossline shoulder web, chest strap, and leg straps each adjust across the full range above.
